This installation of a central heating boiler & unvented cylinder was completed for a customer based in Neston, Cheshire.

Their original heating system comprised of a heat-only boiler located in the garage and a hot water cylinder sited in an upstairs airing cupboard. The homeowners were considering a home renovation and a loft conversion completed. The space of the original airing cupboard that sited the hot water cylinder must be vacated to allow for a new stairway leading to the converted attic. Upon careful consideration of potential positions and requirements of the occupants, a system boiler & unvented cylinder was installed in the garage.

The 300-litre unvented cylinder allowed for the practical use of 3x bathrooms the property now enjoyed. A Worcester 30 CDi Classic system boiler was installed and the Worcester Wave programmer fitted to allow remote access to the heating controls from any smart device such as a phone or tablet. This combination of boiler & cylinder lent itself perfect to the demanding requirements of multiple bathrooms and numerous occupants. As always, a system flush was completed and the functional use of both boiler & controls were explained to the homeowner before leaving.

A 10-year manufacturer’s guarantee was implemented on all Worcester products registered at the point of installation…. These include the boiler, central heating filter & Wave controller.
