About us
Neil
My name is Neil and I created N-Gas Heating Solutions in January 2016. My inspiration was to offer first class service and workmanship and develop a friendly easy going yet professional rapport with my customers.
Due to my interest in sports upon leaving school I went to West Cheshire College to study Sports Science. After graduating I then studied at university in Leeds and went on to gain an Honors Degree in Sports Nutrition.
Soon after and with a burning desire to travel and see the world, my partner and I left home to complete two trips around the globe immersing ourselves in cultures, customers and activities.
It was once I arrived home after our travels that I decided to re-train and look for an alternate career route. I decided on the plumbing and heating industry and secured a full-time apprenticeship with a local firm.
I completed the traditional 4-year time-served route and credit both my college and employer during that time for an invaluably comprehensive learning process. Upon gaining my NVQ Level 3 qualification in plumbing and gas safe registration I found employment working for companies in both the domestic and renewables sector. My exposure and experience in the industry grew and after some time I started N-Gas Heating Solutions whilst working full-time.
It didn’t take long to realise I could better serve my own customers by valuing high standards of work, reliability and professionalism instead of the quantity not quality philosophy of some companies I had worked for. This realisation then prompted me to make N-Gas Heating Solutions my full-time endeavor and I have never looked back since.
Personal interests
Outside of work I lead an incredibly active and fulfilling lifestyle pursuing a plethora of hobbies and interests I have gained. At home my partner and dogs keep me busy and entertained, beyond there on any given evening or weekend my hobbies will place me anywhere from a motocross track to a yoga studio.
I’m incredible passionate about all things health, exercise and nutrition oriented and credit hobbies as diversified as mixed martial arts, dirt bike trail-riding, mountain biking and assault courses to name but a few of my interests.
I have completed many charitable events over the years including 3x London Marathons and aim some time in the not too distant future to complete an Ironman triathlon.
Ryan
Ryan is my nephew & works alongside me during our installation work. We have worked together previously for a large company whilst carrying out boiler replacements, conversions & full central heating installations.
We have developed a fantastic working rapport and find our mutual strengths complement each other and work exceptionally well as a team. Ryan is fully qualified having also completed the time-served traditional route into the trade during his 4-year apprenticeship.
Personal interests
Outside of work Ryan’s chief passion & interest lies with his band, ‘Hollywood Eyes’.
Musically Ryan has nurtured his ability initially on drums and more recently on guitar. He has the esteemed position of singer/songwriter for Hollywood Eyes and they’re extremely active on the live music circuit performing most weeks to large audiences & radio shows.
Anything worth doing is worthy of doing it right and there’s zero doubt that the talents and accolades of Ryan and his bandmates will continue to soar.
